Location:

The Amor Beach is ideally located in Dalawella, Unawatuna which is a resort town area of proximity to the historical city of Galle. An old colonial house which has been refurbished to offer guests maximum comfort, the villa still displays the old grandeur of a manor house. Located within well manicured gardens adjoining a quiet beach area, the location spells out serenity. The Amor Beach is located about 125km away from the Bandaranaike International Airport while the drive time depends on the route that you decide to take. The coastal road which is the Colombo - Galle - Matara main motor way will take between 3 - 4 hours while the Southern Expressway will take less than that.

Accommodation:

A total number of 8 guest rooms are available at Amor Beach in Unawatuna. Guests can choose from a Deluxe King room, 6 Deluxe Double rooms and a Deluxe Single room. All rooms are spacious and spell out charm and comfort. Guests can enjoy direct or partial sea views from their respective rooms while facilities consist of air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water facilities, antique furnishings and a fan. You can obtain a hair dryer upon request.

Excursions:

The adjoining beach area of the villa is quiet and peaceful but the Unawatuna Bay area can be a bit crowded on holidays. The crystal clear waters of the South are always a welcoming sight for holiday goers young and old. Unawatuna is also of proximity to the historical city of Galle which is well known for its magnificent Dutch Fort. The Fort consists of many places that you can visit including old churches, museums, cafes and shops that you can purchase various memorabilia. If you want to travel further down south you can enjoy whale and dolphin watching expeditions in Mirissa. Koggala which is also down south offers access to Pol Oya which is one of the largest natural lakes containing 8 islands including the well-known Madolduwa. Water sports such as surfing, deep see diving and snorkeling can be enjoyed in Unawatuna and its surroundings.
