Bundala National Park Entrance Tickets

Located in the Southern province of Sri Lanka and the nearest town being Hambantota, the Bundala National Park is a renowned wildlife sanctuary for bird watching enthusiasts. Spanning across 62 square kilometres of diverse landscapes, including five shallow brackish lagoons, a fantastic maze of waterways, sand dunes, flora and fauna, the Park is a designated Ramsar Wetland, highlighting global importance.

The Bundala National Park has been known as an important Bird Area in the South Indian and Sri Lankan wetlands. The park houses large number of species of amphibians, fish, reptiles, mammals such as elephants, butterflies and over 200 species of birds in which half of them are migrants who avoid winter seasons in their respective regions. From bird watching to wild life photography, the park is a much visited haven for the nature lover.
