Gulma Sanniya Mask is a traditional Sri Lankan ritual mask representing the demon believed to cause stomach-related illnesses such as bloating and abdominal pain. Handcrafted from Kaduru wood, the mask features a yellow face with exaggerated expressions—bulging eyes, furrowed brows, and red accents—to reflect discomfort and illness. Used in healing rituals like Sanni Yakuma, it is both a cultural artifact and a symbol of spiritual protection.
